Enjoy the cozy atmosphere in our Gasthof during your stay in an idyllic village in the middle of the beautiful Nockbergen. We like to be close to our guests and will do everything we can to make your stay a pleasant one. In our restaurant you can have breakfast and dinner.

Our Gasthof is an ideal starting point for many activities. The spa town of Bad Kleinkirchheim offers plenty of relaxation in both summer and winter. There are numerous activities for the whole family on the Turracher Höhe.

In summer, Carinthia's famous lakes, such as Millstatter See, Ossiacher See and Faaker See, offer cooling, they are all within driving distance of our Gasthof. Hikers and cyclists can start directly from the Gasthof for hours of walking and cycling fun.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail starts right on your doorstep! The ski slopes of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe, Gerlitzen and Hochrindl can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car.

About us

Offering hospitality in one of the most beautiful countries in Europe: Austria. That was our dream and we went after it! We are only satisfied when our guests really feel comfortable, we like to offer that little bit extra. We are happy to think with you about outings, in the neighborhood and further away. Cycling or walking in the area? Ask us about the routes.

Our guesthouse is located in the middle of the Gurktal village of Gnesau. This allows you to enjoy the typical Austrian life, while walking into the beauty of nature in just a few minutes. On our terrace or in the restaurant you can enjoy local food and drinks, but you can also order Dutch snacks. In our cozy Stube you can always have a chat, with or without the villagers.

We are struck by the beauty of Carinthia, which, due to its southern location, has many more hours of sunshine than other parts of Austria. That is pleasant in all seasons.
